tHe Spring Live Active Run 2014 Pacer's Profile

HPRC are proud to be the official pacers for the 2nd year running for the tHe Spring Live Action Run 2014 - 21km pacers. We would like to thank tHe Spring management for giving us the opportunity to collaborate in their 3rd successive year in organizing this event. We share the same ideology as the organizer which is to bring people from all walks of life as well as competitive runners, all for one fun-filled morning celebrating health, fitness and togetherness.  

We at HPRC is Passionate about running and racing, we strive to spread the love of the sport, sharing of experiences and group runs, mid to long distance. We welcome all runners of all paces and distances. Speed is NOT a factor.

Motivation:
Being a pacer is part of giving back to the running community.
It is a way to give back what others have given to me all along - the much needed lift and motivation to push through my limits in achieving my goal.
And now, it is an honour for us, pacers to lend you these support and strength throughout the race.

Motivation:
Being a pacer is physically and mentally challenging to a runner.  We need to have the patience and ensure steady pace so that runners can follow throughout the whole 21km. 
To runners, get a short and powerful quote to motivate you when you’re physically and mentally exhausted. 
If you want to achieve a sub-2 goal in Half Marathon, look for me!

Motivation:
Running is an art of disciplining yourself.
Numerous time you ask yourself, do you pursue or do you hold back.
I would say be patient and listen to your body as it will pay off.

Motivation:
Every runner starts from scratch.
If you run, you are a runner no matter what your pace and distance is.
I think the most fascinating moment when I run is I don't feel my legs moving, just the sound of my breath.

Motivation:
The feeling of sweat down our face, the heat from the sun, the barking of dogs and the dusty road - that’s what we face as runners.
Why do you run then, you may ask? I run because it is something that you can do by yourself, a time to unwind, to reflect, but most of all, a great opportunity to meet new friends who share a common bond - the LOVE and FUN of Running.

Why do I like running?
